Hongzhou, Prince He

Hongzhou (Manchu: Hungjeo; 5 January 1712 - 2 September 1770) was a Manchu prince of the Qing Dynasty.
==Biography==
Hongzhou was born of the Manchu Aisin Gioro clan as the fifth son of the Yongzheng Emperor. His mother was Imperial Noble Consort Chunque (纯悫皇贵妃) of the Geng (耿) clan, who was the daughter of Geng Dejin (耿德金), a ''guanling'' (內管領) in the Qing imperial court.
Hongzhou was granted the title of "Prince He of the First Rank" (和親王) in 1733. In his childhood, he was adopted and raised by Empress Xiaojingxian. Unlike his half-brothers Hongli (the future Qianlong Emperor) and Hongshi, Hongzhou chose to avoid being involved in rivalry over the succession to their father's throne. He was known to have pretended to be crazy and feminine.
